Over break we will be performing maintenance on several systems which will affect access to many critical services:
On Monday, April 2, 2018 we will be changing the physical location of the campus firewall appliance. This means disconnecting the campus from the Internet for a short period of time. Users on campus will not be able to access services not hosted here (e.g., Banner, Moodle, and the Internet-at-large). Users off campus will not be able to “see” services hosted from on campus and may find themselves unable to authenticate to anything requiring their Campus Computer Account credentials. The phone system will not be affected. This maintenance will take place beginning at 6:30 P. M. and is not expected to last more than 4 hours.
On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 we will be performing maintenance in our main Data Center. This will result in access to some campus-hosted services being unavailable, most notably Helios and the campus online directory. There is potential for a small number of individual desk phones to stop working during this time. This maintenance will take place between 6:30 P. M. and 10:00 P. M.
