[ANNOUNCE] Phishing

The IT Service Desk has received a number of communications regarding a phishing email from a Potsdam Employee to a legitimate campus mailing list. One of the known mailing lists was for Banner 9 information. Please do not follow links without checking with the IT Service Desk. CTS is continuing to investigate and the compromised account has been disabled. Please contact the IT Service Desk immediately if you clicked on any links in these emails.

[INPROGRESS] Dropped Telephone Calls

CTS is receiving reports of dropped telephone calls. CTS has an open issue with our telephone service provider at this time. When further information becomes available it will be posted here on this blog.

Those experiencing difficulties should contact the IT Service Desk by emailing itservicedesk@potsdam.edu or by calling x4444. Please include the number you were calling to, the number you were calling from, and the exact date and time of the issue in your report.

2024 CTS Summer Holidays

CTS will observe the following holidays over summer 2024.

Memorial Day – Monday, May 27, 2024 – All areas of CTS will be closed.

Juneteenth – Wednesday, June 19, 2024 – All areas of CTS will be closed

CTS Presidents’ Day Hours

The IT Service Desk and Device Management Services will be open on President’s Day, Monday, February 19, 2024, in support the instructional needs of the campus.  

CTS Operations, CTS Administration, Administrative Information Systems, Host Services, Network Infrastructure and Media, and Telecom will all be closed. Staff in these areas will be available to address your concerns Tuesday, February 20, 2024, after 8am.
