[RESOLVED] Network Outage
Electrical anomalies resulted in loss of power to networking equipment connecting the campus to the internet. Power was restored about 10 minutes ago.

A system fault in a critical network storage component caused a brief outage to a number of campus services. At this point all services should be available and functioning properly.
A failure in a critical storage sub-system has resulted in outages to several campus services. Systems Engineers are working to resolve the issue, no ETA is available at this time.
The Domain Controller experienced a system fault which required it to be reset. Domain logins were interrupted for approximately 3 minutes but should be functioning properly at this time.
This mornings system fault caused irreparable damage to the MeetingMaker database. We have been forced to revert back to this morning’s backup. As a result, users will be prompted with a message informing them that the MeetingMaker server has been restored from backup. You will need to “Revert” your calendar in order to successfully connect to the MeetingMaker server. Any MeetingMaker changes made since approximately 04:00 this morning (4:00am) will need to be re-entered.
Related to the previous outage, MeetingMaker is currently unavailable. Engineers are aware of the problem and working towards a solution, no ETA is available at this time.
A system fault in a critical storage component required an extensive error-checking process that created a non-trivial service outage of many campus services. At this time, the fault has been resolved and all services should be running normally.

On Monday, August 10th, beginning at 4:00PM and lasting until 8:00AM Tuesday, August 11th, ALL campus information technology services will be shut down due to a Kellas-wide power outage. For the duration of the outage, we will make a best-effort to continue to offer critical communication services via https://blogs.potsdam.edu/network/ and the main campus web server at https://www.potsdam.edu/. Other services may be available at various times, but should not be expected. Please plan accordingly.
