The campus mail server experienced a software fault at 8:30AM which
required a reboot. Outage 11 minutes. All systems are back online.
Friday, November 28th, beginning around 10:00AM, there will be campus
data outages impacting various parts of the campus data network to
accommodate significant network maintenance. At times, access from the
Internet and R&E/Internet2 will also not be possible.
It is expected that the outages will be in two groups: the first group
impacting only users on the southern half of campus, the second group
impacting users on the northern half as well as external access to
on-campus services.
The maintenance window is 5 hours.
Banner, BearPAWS, and HR Time Accounting Services have been restored.
Currently Banner, BearPAWS, and HR Time Accounting systems are down. We are in the process of resolving the problem. Services should be restored shortly.
A problem with a critical clustered file system required a reboot of
several of the systems that comprise the BearPAWS/Banner/HR Time
Accounting system. All services should now be available.
BearPAWS, Banner, and HR Time Accounting will be going down for a system reboot to solve disk mounting issues. All systems should be up and available by 9:30AM at the latest.
Helios was rebooted 24 minutes ago and all systems are back online.
Helios is encountering problems related to yesterdays power outages.
Reboot imminent.
At 1:17am backup power systems feeding TimeWarner equipment colocated in
the Kellas DataCenter drained, due to an electrical problem. Electrical
power was re-routed and all systems are back online as of 2:08am.
