BannerTest and BearPawsTest Maintenance is complete. Due to some complications it will have another downtime tomorrow morning between 7am and 9am.
There is maintenance being done on BannerTest and BearPawsTest. Services should be restored by 9am.
Microsoft Teams issue with joining meetings is now fixed.
Update from Microsoft: “While we were in the process of analyzing system logs to isolate the source of the problem, system monitoring indicated that the service had returned to normal health. We’ve confirmed that the problem is no longer occurring, and we’ll continue to monitor the service to ensure that the problem does not happen again.”
Microsoft just released a service alert stating users my be unable to join meetings using Microsoft Teams. Microsoft is currently reviewing diagnostic logs to understand the root cause and establish a fix.
The impact is specific to users routed through the affected infrastructure. We have had some of our end-users report that they are affected by this.
We will notify you once Microsoft has found a fix.
The Campus Internet service provider has announced that they will be performing maintenance on Tuesday, 7-21-2020 from 12 AM to 6 AM. Loss of service is not anticipated to exceed 30 minutes.
ITEC will be patching storage and the OS on our Banner and DegreeWorks/BearDeN servers on July 15 from 12:00am to 7:00am. During this time Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN will be unavailable sporadically.
Microsoft reports that all Teams services have been restored.
Microsoft has posted an announcement that some users may be unable to access the Teams service or some of its features. They are currently investigating the issue. We will provide updates as we receive them.
The CTS tracking system, track.potsdam.edu is available again.
