Firewall Maintenance is under way. A message will be posted when maintenance is complete.

CTS will be performing maintenance on the campus firewall this morning, Sunday, January 21, 2018. This campus will lose internet connectivity for several brief periods as this maintenance is performed. An update will be posted to the blog when maintenance begins and again when maintenance is complete.

The upgrade and testing of Moodle is complete. Users can now login. If you experience problems or have questions, please send e-mail to moodlesupport@potsdam.edu

A maintenance window to upgrade Moodle, our learning management system, has been scheduled for the weekend of January 19th (10:00 A. M.) – 22nd (8:00 A. M.), 2018. In order that we not interrupt Winterim courses and still get Moodle upgraded in time for the Spring semester, you are being advised that the deadline for grade submission for Winterim courses will be strictly enforced. Grades are due by Friday, January 19th, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Users will be locked out of Moodle shortly after 10:00 so that the upgrade can be performed and tested in time for classes to commence on Monday, January 22nd at 8:00 A. M. All users should be advised that Moodle will be unavailable for any use during this maintenance window and plan accordingly.

The BearPAWS page to add money to Bear Express/FLEX is again working.

The system that allows customers to add funds to their PACES Flex or Bear Express accounts via BearPAWS is currently experiencing difficulty. Technicians are working on the problem. Another post will be made when the system is available.

The migration of the Banner environment to the new ITEC VTC data center is complete. Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN are now available.

Network Maintenance VanHousen Hall is complete for 1/5/18.

CTS is beginning network maintenance in VanHousen Hall. All administrative areas will be affected. Residential areas serviced by Apogee will not be affected. Expect brief losses of network connectivity. An announcement will be made when work is complete.

PACES will be upgrading systems supporting SUNYCard transactions beginning Monday, January 8th, 2018 through Wednesday, January 10th, 2018. The campus should expect interruptions with all aspects of the SUNYCard system including Bear Express transactions, balance inquiries, SUNYCard processing and online CASHNet transactions.
