Status Announcements

Our service provider is continuing to work on the incoming phone call issue. This blog will be updated when we receive more information.

ITEC will be patching storage and the OS on our Banner and DegreeWorks/BearDeN servers on July 15 from 12:00am to 7:00am. During this time Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN will be unavailable sporadically.

At this time the campus is experiencing trouble with incoming phone calls. Outbound calls appear to be working at this time with backup circuits in a limited capacity. CTS has filed a ticket with our provider. This blog will be updated when more information is available.

BannerTest/BearPawsTest Maintenance is now complete.

There is maintenance being done on BannerTest and BearPawsTest. Services should be restored by 9am.

Microsoft Teams issue with joining meetings is now fixed.

Update from Microsoft: “While we were in the process of analyzing system logs to isolate the source of the problem, system monitoring indicated that the service had returned to normal health. We’ve confirmed that the problem is no longer occurring, and we’ll continue to monitor the service to ensure that the problem does not happen again.”

Microsoft just released a service alert stating users my be unable to join meetings using Microsoft Teams. Microsoft is currently reviewing diagnostic logs to understand the root cause and establish a fix.

The impact is specific to users routed through the affected infrastructure. We have had some of our end-users report that they are affected by this.

We will notify you once Microsoft has found a fix.

The Campus Internet service provider has announced that they will be performing maintenance on Tuesday, 7-21-2020 from 12 AM to 6 AM. Loss of service is not anticipated to exceed 30 minutes.
