As announced on December 8, 2015, the VPN service at vpn.potsdam.edu has been terminated. A new and more secure VPN service, “Global Protect” from PaloAlto Networks, is now available at palo.potsdam.edu.
The new VPN service requires a small amount of setup. Instructions are on this Helpdesk page.
Sogo email and calendaring experienced difficulty this last Sunday afternoon and evening (12/20), and may have been inaccessible. The problem was fixed Sunday night and both services are now operating normally.
Our Email server has been fixed. The Email queue is currently backed up but all mail will eventually be delivered. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Helpdesk at x4444 or helpdesk@potsdam.edu

Print jobs are taking a very long time to process. CTS is investigating.

The email server is rebooting to correct a loss of service.
Maintenance on the following servers/services is now complete. SOGo calendar/email, DNS*, EMR, Print server, WebWork, the campus web site, and Firebug.
