CTS is receiving reports of problems with the CTS tracking system, track.potsdam.edu. Technicians are investigating the issues.
CTS has restored all services from the previously announced outage with the exception of the CTS ticketing system, track.potsdam.edu
An announcement will be made when track.potsdam.edu has been restored.
CTS is beginning the previously announced Data Center shutdown procedure. An announcement will be made to this blog when work is completed.
This Saturday, May 30, 2020, testing of the fire alarm system in Kellas Hall will be taking place. Part of the testing will cause disruption to the power for the Data Center. In order to safely prepare for this, CTS will be shutting down all equipment in the Data Center. Testing is scheduled to begin around 8 a.m. In anticipation CTS will begin shutting down non-critical systems starting at 6 a.m. It is anticipated that services will be restored by 1 p.m. An announcement will be made to this blog when work begins and is completed.

ITEC worked overnight to replace faulty hardware, resolving the issues with Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN.
ITEC is currently experiencing problems which affect our Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN. We will update this announcement page once the problem has been fixed.
Upgrades to the Voice Mail system and software patch installations to resolve issues with o365 integration have been completed. All Voice Mail and Call Menu services should now be back to normal. If any problems are encountered please send an email to telcom@potsdam.edu detailing the issue(s) and they will be addressed as soon as possible.

Starting today at 3:00 PM EDT upgrades will be made to the Voice Mail system along with patches to resolve issues with o365 integration. Service should not be interrupted, but access to Voice Mail Boxes may be affected for a short period of time. If this occurs, please try again in a few minutes.
