CTS Announcements & Systems Status

Printing issues are resolved at this time. If you do encounter any problems printing please contact the IT Service Desk via email at itservicedesk@potsdam.edu or by phone at (315) 267-4444.

We are still experiencing printing issues. Our technicians are aware and working on a fix.

Work on the print server has completed. If you do encounter any problems printing please contact the IT Service Desk via email at itservicedesk@potsdam.edu or by phone at (315) 276-4444. 

On Thursday October 7th TelCom will be performing maintenance on the main campus phone and Voice Mail systems. Work is scheduled to commence before business hours, and should be completed prior to the start of the normal work day. During the maintenance window access to Voice Mail system may be unavailable.
There will be a follow up announcement once work has been completed.

On Saturday, October 23rd, between 7:00am and 9:00am, SUNY ITEC will be doing maintenance on the SUNY Listserv which means that ALL mailing lists on ls.suny.edu will be unavailable.

On Monday October 11th CTS will be performing maintenance on the main campus print server (lorax2). During the maintenance window printing may be unavailable. There will be a follow up announcement once work has been completed.

All printer and copier issues should be resolved at this point. If you do encounter any problem please contact the help desk.

A majority of the printer issues have now been resolved. We are currently still working with the vendor to get copiers back up. As of right now we believe the issue only effects Canon copiers. We will post another message once this problem has been resolved.

ITEC will be performing system maintenance on Wednesday, July 14th from 12:00am through 7:00am. During this period Banner, BearPAWS and BearDeN will be inaccessible.

ITEC will be performing maintenance on our routers tomorrow, July 9th, from 5:00am – 7:00am. During this time there may be a short blip in traffic flow.
