CTS Announcements & Systems Status

Adobe licensing on the SUNY Potsdam campus is a managed service of SUNY ITEC. We are aware of the end of licensing messaging that some Adobe users are receiving. SUNY ITEC is aware of these expiration notices and is working on a 60-day extension with Adobe while a new contract is worked out. If you experience issues with the use or function of any Adobe product please submit a ticket, call or send an email to the IT Service Desk x4444 or itservicedesk@potsdam.edu.

CTS will continue to monitor this situation with our provider but all indications show this issue to be resolved at this time. If you are experiencing any issues calling off campus from an on campus phone please report it to the IT Service Desk – itservicedesk@potsdam.edu or 315-267-4444

Currently, some calls to off campus numbers from on campus are failing with an “All circuits are busy” recording. CTS has opened a ticket with our service provider and will update this blog when further information is available.

ITEC has resolved the issues with Banner Admin.

Banner Admin is currently experiencing issues and spinning when trying to load any pages. ITEC is investigating the problem.

ITEC has planned SYSNET Maintenance for SIS#1 and DGW on July 12th from 12:00am thru 7:00am. During this time Banner, BearPAWS and BearDeN will be inaccessible.

Microsoft has updated the following advisory indicating the issue is now resolved. – Users may be unable to access Microsoft Teams using web browsers ID: TM612617

All areas of Computing and Technology Services will be closed Monday, July 3, 2023 and Tuesday, July 4, 2023. We will resume regular business operations on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 8am.
