CTS Announcements & Systems Status

ITEC will be performing OS and Infrastructure patching on Wednesday July 10, 2024 from 12:00am – 7:00am. During this time Banner, BearPAWS and BearDeN will be unavailable.

ITEC will be performing database patching on Tuesday July 2, 2024 from 6:00am – 8:00am. During this time Banner, BearPAWS and BearDeN will be unavailable.

All areas of CTS will be closed on July 4, and July 5, 2024 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen for regular business in all areas on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 8:00am.

Cybersecurity threats are right around every corner. Here’s a malicious hacking campaign that is making the news involving Dropbox and Google Drive. CTS will observe the following holidays over summer 2024.

Memorial Day – Monday, May 27, 2024 – All areas of CTS will be closed.

Juneteenth – Wednesday, June 19, 2024 – All areas of CTS will be closed

The IT Service Desk and Device Management Services will be open on President’s Day, Monday, February 19, 2024, in support the instructional needs of the campus.  

CTS Operations, CTS Administration, Administrative Information Systems, Host Services, Network Infrastructure and Media, and Telecom will all be closed. Staff in these areas will be available to address your concerns Tuesday, February 20, 2024, after 8am.

The telephone service provider has restored service and calls to and from campus are working as expected.

Incoming phone calls to campus are currently failing. Outgoing calls are proceeding as expected. CTS technicians are working with the service provider to restore service. An announcement will be made available here when more information is available.

ITEC will be performing maintenance patching on Wednesday February 14, 2024 from 12:00am – 7:00am. During this time Banner, BearPAWS and BearDeN will be unavailable.

CTS will be working with our telephone services carrier this evening between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm to do a services migration of the campus telephone circuits to a fiber optic based carrier. During this transition all campus telephone service will be affected and the ability to place and receive will be intermittent. We apologize for any inconvenience.
