[RESOLVED] Banner/BearPAWS connectivity issues

BearPAWS access is restored. Please try clearing your cache if you are still having issues. Banner login issues may still persist as we continue to troubleshoot the issues.
Following ITEC connectivity issues, we have experienced issues with our authentication servers for Banner/BearPAWS. BearPAWS authentication has been rolled back to a prior implementation without Single Sign-On (SSO) and appears to be functioning properly at this time.
ITEC is having continued hardware issues which are causing some people to have connectivity issues with Banner/BearPAWS. We are awaiting an update from ITEC and will post an update when we have more information.
Login issues for Banner/BearPAWS have been resolved.
We are currently experiencing login issues for Banner/BearPAWS and ITEC is working with the hardware vendor to resolve the issue.
All areas of CTS will be CLOSED on Monday, January 16, 2023 for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, since there are no classes in session.

The phone system reset is complete. Settings should be restored on all the phones at this time. We do notice a few phones that we will need to visit to reset manually. If you are still experiencing an issue by the close of business today, please send your request to itservicedesk@potsdam.edu

Technicians are currently working to reset impacted phones throughout the campus. Some critical areas such as University Police and Student Health have service restored. Your patience is appreciated as we work to resolve the outage.
Earlier this morning servers that support the phone system suffered a failure. Technicians responded and powered the servers back on. Some phones have had service restored however many still remain out of service. CTS is working with the support vendor to correct the issues as soon as possible. Please monitor this blog for further updates.
