ITEC reported an incident with our Banner servers Wednesday 1/18 between 10pm and 6:30am 1/19. The systems are up and seem to be running fine now however, if you experience any problems related to the down time or Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN not working properly, please submit a HelpDesk ticket.
moodle.potsdam.edu is currently unreachable. CTS is working with our Moodle Administrator and hosting provider to determine the problem and see to its resolution.
Correction: the error page you may encounter begins with “Unknown LibGuides domain”. If you get this error, try going to https://potsdam.libguides.com/home instead.
The library site is undergoing maintenance, and attempts to reach it may instead result in an error page that says “The requested site could not be found. Please double-check the domain …”.
If you need access to the library’s home page tonight but get this message, please try https://potsdam.libguides.com/home instead.
ITEC will be taking down production Banner servers for O/S firmware updates on February 22nd, 2017 from 12:00am – 7:00am. During this time Banner, BearPAWS and BearDeN will be unavailable. This maintenance was originally scheduled for February 24th.
The EMS software upgrade is complete.
Lingering issues with our phone system after yesterday’s unexpected power outage have been resolved. If you continue to experience problems with your desk phone, please report it to the CTS Helpdesk: helpdesk@potsdam.edu
Moodle service has been restored. This morning’s problem was at the hosting vendor’s site, and has been fixed.
Some aspects of phone service continue to be unavailable after this morning’s unexpected power outage, including Voice Mail. CTS is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it.
