The CTS Helpdesk’s “new” (for almost three years now) phone number is 315-267-4444. As of this week, the old number (x-2083) will no longer reach the Helpdesk. Callers will hear a message informing them of the new number and instructing them to update their contact lists.
Firefox 52 was released recently and it includes two major changes: support for WebAssembly and the removal of support for NPAPI (Netscape Plugin API) plugins like Silverlight, Java, and others, with the exception of Flash.
Because our version of Banner relies on Java for proper operation, users will see just a white screen or an error will be displayed when they attempt to use Banner.
CTS has a work-around for this issue with Firefox. Users are asked to contact the CTS Helpdesk if they experience issues with Banner.
Submit a ticket using RT (select Desktop/Notebook Computers for this issue from the drop-down menu), email helpdesk@potsdam.edu or call x4444.
The problem causing the e-mail backlog has been resolved. Mail is being delivered.
We are experiencing e-mail delays again this morning. Technicians are aware of and working on the problem.
Last evening Bear Mobile was updated. The app should automatically refresh with the new content.
Should your app have trouble refreshing, you may need to do this manually. The procedure to refresh would be to select the “Switch School” option from the app and then search for “SUNY Potsdam” from the list of provided schools.
Once Potsdam is selected from the list the content will refresh.

E-mail pass through our anti-spam appliance slowed down dramatically this morning. The cause has been found and corrected. Mail backlog is now being delivered.
